Sada Bahar Scheme (SBS)

The scheme primarily caters to the financing requirements of existing eligible farmers for purchase of input items on annual revolving basis for three years. The borrower can draw the credit limit in lumpsum or in piece meal according to his requirement.

Eligibility i. The scheme primarily caters to the financing requirements for production purposes of eligible farmers/growers. Only existing borrowers would be eligible to avail renewal on annual basis and after repayment get processed existing revolving limit without availing enhanced per acre limits under new loan case number for another three years period.
ii. No fresh production loan of new borrower would be processed under Sada Bahar Scheme.
iii. In case such borrowers intend to avail enhanced per acre limits circulated vide Circular No. CD/14/2009 dated 04.12.2009, they will have to close their loan cases during or after the expiry of three years currency period and get sanctioned input loan according to revised and enhanced per acre limits under Kissan Dost Scheme only.
Collateral Tangible properties and all other forms of securities acceptable to the Bank.
Documents Required CNIC copy, Loan Case File, Agri. Pass Book/ Fard Jamabandi, 2 recent photographs.
Rate of Mark Up: As per prevailing policy rate of Mark-up on SBS.
Maximum Loan Limit Rs.0.500 million per borrower/party.
Monitoring: Strict monitoring is exercised by ensuring checking of utilization by the MCO in 100% cases and sample checking of utilization by the Manager, Zonal Manager (Recovery) and Internal Auditors of the Bank.
Repayment Schedule i. Loans disbursed for wheat & other Rabi crops from 1st October to 31st December would be recoverable on 15th June and loans disbursed from 1st January to 31st March would be recoverable on 15th September.
ii. Loans disbursed for cotton, paddy and other Kharif crops from 1st April to 30th June would be recoverable on 15th December and loans disbursed from 1st July to 30th September would be recoverable on 15th March.
iii. Loans disbursed for sugarcane crop (Aug-April) would be recoverable in two half yearly installments on 15th January and 15th July.
iv. Input loans disbursed for working capital for orchard during the Rabi season i.e. 1st October to 31st March would be recoverable in one installment on next 15th January and like-wise input loans disbursed for working capital for orchard during Kharif season i.e. 1st April to 30th September would be recoverable on next 15th July.
